Anyone who was half awake the first year of Ben's and Meg's relationship, would realize how much love (and guilt) he had over Maria - why he even called out her name while making love to Meg in the cave!! A man with such deep feelings and commitment, and one who deeply loved his wife, would NOT have picked Meg over Maria! He has always been filled with chivalry - the writers screwed up with this storyline....Meg (although I love her) should smarten up and find someone else!! Ben belongs with his wife and his child (or is it his brother Derek's child?? Identical twins have the exact same DNA).....
